I love all of the products this week! I don't have the digital download but am thinking I should get it. If you have the MDS software and plan to use it one day, you may as well stock up on the downloads while they are on sale, right? That's how my mind works. I love the instant WOW of embossing folders and my circle die is slowly getting pushed aside for the circle framelits but I do still use the die once in a while. Love, love the dress form pop-up and the peek-a-boo frames. Yep, this week they are all winners for me. Except for the MDS DL, they all use the Big Shot, which I don't know how we ever got along without. Have a great day!
Here's another card designed with the Sale-a-bration set 'Petal Parade.' I wanted something different than my usual style...whatever that is. So, I stamped the flower 3 times on Whisper White cardstock and then punched one with the 1 3/8" cirecle punch, another with the 1 1/4" circle punch and the last one with the 1" circle punch. I popped the largest one up with 1 layer of dimensionals, the middle one with no dimensionals and the smallest one I stacked 2 dimensionals on top of each other so that it was popped up the highest. Then layered on rectangles. The Thank You is stamped with the 'So Very Grateful' stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog then punched out with the Modern Label Punch. We made this at my Stamp Club today. I thought this could be a masculine card. To frilly it up a bit, you could use the scallop punches and some bling.
I hadn't played much with this set until yesterday. This will do the trick if you want a quick and easy "Thank you" card. I used Island Indigo cardstock and Ink and Crushed Curry cardstock and Ink. White is cut to 3.75", II is cut to 4" and Crushed Curry is cut to 4.25". Stamp the Thank You first and then stamp the 4 corners with the image from Petal Parade and then one in the center of each side. Easy peasy. I think next time I will emboss the Thank You with clear embossing powder but you get the idea. I think we'll make this at my upcoming Stamp Camp and jazz it up a bit for my quick and easy card. Hope you like it.
