Here are a couple of samples from my stamp camp today. The papers are from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog. Aren't they beautiful. I paired with the Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip cardstock and the 1 1/4" Pink Pirouette Grosgrain Ribbon. I copied the technique for creating the flower right from page 5 of the min catalog. I punched the border of the paper with the new eyelet scallop punch. The Happy Birthday is from the Sincere Salutations stamp set. The 1/2 pearl is from the Pretties Kit. Enjoy
This sample uses the Polka Dot Punches stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. It also uses elements from the Pretties Kit, VersaMark ink pad, Silver Embossing Powder and 'from the heart' is from Holidays and Wishes stamp set. The background is created with the new BIG SHOT machine and a Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate. The card is rocade blue cardstock. I just think this is so elegant. What do you think?
Sorry I haven't posted the last several days...life happens and I've been terribly busy. I'm trying to do better though. Hopefully, this post will make you happy :-)
I made these cute little treats for my Stamper-10 club members this month. Aren't they cute. I used black StazOn to stamp the small cello bags and then slipped a piece of cardstock inside the bag to show off the heart. Then I use the Big Shot Top Note Die to create the topper for the treat bag. There are Hershey Kisses in the bag. Don't you think they'll love these. I do. The stamps used are 'Yummy' and 'Polka Dot Punches' and they're both from the Sale-a-bration(SAB) mini catalog. During Feb and Mar, you can get any of the featured mini SAB catalog items for FREE with a $50 purchase. Want 2? Then you can put in a $100 order, etc. I just love the fact that we can get ribbon and DSP, along with stamp sets, this year. Let me know if you need a Sale-a-bration mini catalog. Place an order online on my website to receive a FREE SAB item and you'll also receive a catalog for FREE. Go to my website and click on 'shop now' to place your order anytime.
This next card is also made with the 'Yummy' set from the SAB mini catalog. What do you think? We started out with glossy white cardstock and brayered it in pretty in pink ink to match the card. We also used the Top Note Die and the Big Shot on it. The ribbon is from the SAB mini catalog and is one of your free choices this year...yay. The flower is from one of my favorite flower sets this year "Flower Fancy." enjoy
This next card is a St. Patrick's Day card we're making at my s-10 club this month. The technique is Post it Note. You cover glossy cardstock with post it notes all over, leaving just a bit of the glossy cardstock exposed. Then you brayer over the post it notes with the darkest color you're working with. In this case, we used Handsome Hunter. Then, you remove some post it notes and brayer over the entire thing with the next lighter color, Glorious Green for this card. Then, remove some more post it notes and brayer with your lightest color, Green Galore for this one. Then pull remaining post it notes off to expose some white. If you don't want white showing, brayer a yet lighter color. Make sense? If not, email me and I'll try to explain more. The stamp set is 'Pinch Proof.' Enjoy.
