Here are 3 of the cards we made last weekend in our September Christmas card class. I'm having a class each month through November. At each class we have 5 designs and everyone makes 2 of each design. Hopefully, everyone that comes will get all of their cards made and out in the mail by December 1st. Hope you like them.
This first one was made with the new ornament set in the Holiday Mini catalog. I played and played until I finally thought to make the ornaments with Glossy White cardstock. That was the answer. Much prettier in person with the shiny bulbs. Oh, I'll bet you think I cut those bulbs out...no way. There's a fabulous new punch in the mini also. Cuts a perfect shape after you stamp it. woo hoo
You can't see the glimmer of the trees in this picture but they shimmer. I stamped the trees with Handsome Hunter ink and then took a sponge dauber and daubed the white shimmer (in the mini also) right onto the inked stamp. The shimmer doesn't cover up the original color ink, it enhances it. Love this shimmer paint.
Another round card with the Big on Christmas set. I love snow and snowmen!
