Oh my...Mike is on a roll with making delicious dinners. Tonight it was Pumpkin Soup and salad with Romaine lettuce, dried cranberries, feta cheese, walnuts, oranges and raspberry/walnut dressing. YUMMY. I may be able to bring back my Monday features of Monday's with Mike.

This stamp set is an oldie but a goodie. It's one of my most used stamp sets and it's one of the most versatile sets. It can be used for any season. It's suitable for masculine or feminine and it's just plan WONDERFUL.
This was another card we made at our last Christmas card class. Hope you like it.
We cut out an oval from a piece of cardboard and threw away the actual oval and used the negative to sponge old olive ink into. Then, we stamped the line of trees in old olive ink and stamped off once onto scratch paper and then stamped a second time onto the card front. Then, ink the single pine tree in old olive ink and apply shimmer paint on top of the stamped tree and then stamp onto the card front. Simple but very pretty. Enjoy. That's a funny title, yes? Well, Mike has been cooking a lot lately since he retired. Tonight it was Lobster Rolls. OMGosh, they were delicious. He made them from scratch. He is looking recipes up and making all kinds of new things that I would never try to make. YUMMY. Now, if I could get him to stick to low cal, low fat but I'm not complaining....I'm not cooking :-)

I was excited when I came up with this design. When I saw the new Silver Glimmer Paper in the Holiday Mini catalog, I knew I wanted to make snowflakes with it. I used the Northern Frost Sizzlit Decorative Strip Die and the Big Shot machine and these were created in a matter of minutes. I LOVE snowflakes and I love the simplicity of this card. Hope you like it too. You get 8 snowflakes when you run the die through so I took one and added it to the inside of my card. The "Seasons Greetings" sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder and heat set with the heat gun. Tied off with some White Satin Ribbon and it's a really pretty card that sparkles. The cardstock was Marina Mist and Whisper White.
This stamp set is my favorite in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I could just crawl into that cottage and live forever. The set is called 'Christmas Lodge' and it is stunning. I stamped with only black ink and colored the roof and snow with the white watercolor pencil out of the wc pencil set. I did not blend it with a blender pen...I just did solid coloring. Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock were used. I used a little blue pencil on the birds and a bit of green in the pine.
