I've been trying to get back to the basics lately and that includes heat embossing. There was a while when I totally forgot about embossing powder and embossing and I don't know why because it's one of my favorite techniques. It's easy and gives such a wow factor. The platinum EP is so beautiful. At first I thought it can't be that different than silver but boy was I WRONG. It is stunning. This card uses fun things from both the Occasions Mini catalog and the Sale-a-bration catalog. Don't you just love the new pleated ribbon. Perfect pleats every time. That does my heart good. Although I am trying not to be so A type...it's a hard habit to kick. lol...in fact I'm looking at this now and thinking I stamped that Happy Birthday a little high on the right side. Oh well...I'll get over it. It's hand made, right. It's not supposed to be perfect. Twitterplated DSP, Elementary Elegance Stamp Set (SAB), Riding Hood Red Pleated Satin Ribbon, Platinum Embossing Powder

This is a very pretty card.
