I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Northern Virginia. I love Rubber Stamping, Scrapbooking and 3-d Paper Crafting. I also love Cooking, Gardening, Travel, Photography and Occasionally Organizing.
On this BLOG you'll see a bit of it all because it is all a part of my life. I hope you'll visit often. email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Well, not really when you go outside but lately I've been making cards that make me look forward to Fall. I'm not a summer person but I love Spring, Fall and Winter (only when it snows though). If it doesn't snow, then Fall is my favorite season....well, until Spring comes. I guess I love all the seasons because each one has something new and wonderful to give us..except Summer....don't like humidity or the hot sun. I digress.
This card certainly makes me think of Fall the and beautiful leaves that nature give us. It's right out of the holiday mini/maxi catalog (that's what I'm calling it ). Have you seen it? It's huge and full of fabulous things that I just can not resist. I love, love the Framelits and there's lots of them in this mini/maxi. What about the cover page. OMGosh, I can't wait to make that ornament. I may give it a go this weekend if I can find the time to play.
Don't you love the texutred Window Sheet on this card? The white ink is StazOn, which will dry on plastic...too cool. This card uses Window Sheets, Designer Buttons - Brushed Bronze, Wonderfall Stamp Set (LOVE IT), Textured Embossing Folder - Woodgrain, Bigz Die - Autumn Accents and the Big Shot, Champagne Glimmer Paper and Linen Thread.
Click on the mini/maxi catalog on the left sidebar to see all the fabulous items available. If you want your own copy to carry from room to room, just email me at email@example.com and I'll put one in the mail to you.
The wonderful thing about being a demonstrator is the amazing friendships that are formed and all the sharing of ideas. I saw this sample somewhere and had to create one myself. I love heat embossing and with just Versa Mark and clear embossing powder, it looks like you have 3 different colors of powder. Stamp the image, heat emboss and punch with the Fancy Flower Punch and adorn with some Bitty Buttons. Instant pretty! The sentiment is from Short & Sweet. Both of these stamp sets are retiring and will be gone as of May 31st.
We will be making this at Stamp Camp on Saturday. Hope to see you there.
Murphy Safari Continued...
Arusha National Park, about 212 sq. miles, is not home to a lot of big game but it has a wonderful variety of bird life and some pretty cool animals. Giraffes are plentiful and there are hippos in the lakes and zebra and dik diks which look like big eyed small deer with long legs and they are so fast as they dart in and out of the bush. There are buffalo too. It was a great introduction of what was to come for the next 10 days.
Tammy is checking out the park maps and information. And to think she did not even want to come with us on this trip. She looks pretty intersted to me.
She's pointing something out to dad.
Look how close he is. But we'll get even closer. Tammy hasn't turned around to see this one yet. He's checking us out though.
We got our first zebra sighting as this zebra darted out in front of us. He was in a hurry to get somewhere. We were so excited and we hadn't even seen any of "the big 5" yet.
I can't remember the names of these birds but they were all incredible and huge. You can click on any of the pictures and see a larger image.
Oh my, I am losing track of time going through all these pictures again. Hope you like them too.
As part of our Making a Difference program, Stampin' Up! is proud to partner with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® in the Strength & Hope Campaign.
For every purchase of the Strength & Hope Stamp Set or the Strength & Hope Digital Kit, Stampin' Up! is donating $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Most of us, either directly or indirectly, know someone who has been affected by some form of Cancer.
I have way too many friends who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Some have lost the battle and others are survivors who are cancer free and pray daily that it never returns. Yet other friends are currently fighting the battle and I pray that they will also be survivors.
I have often thought that if we can send men to the moon, why can't they find a cure for this terrible disease? I never seem to come up with a good enough answer.
Please join me in supporting Stampin' Up!'s campaign, by purchasing the "Strength & Hope" stamp set. You will be helping to make a difference in the fight to stop this terrible disease.

These are the projects we made at my Stamp Camp this past Saturday. Then we made them all at my team meeting on Saturday night, as none of my team was at my Stamp Camp. That gives them some ideas to use until the end of April with their customers without having to reinvent the wheel....so to speak. All were CASEd from here and there and then changed at least a little bit. I love to print samples out as I see them and modify for me. I hope you enjoy them.
All samples were made with stamp sets from the current Occassions Mini catalog and the Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog. SALE-a-bration ends this coming Thursday, March 31st, so now is your last chance to qualify for those FREE items in that cute mini. See both minis on the left sidebar of this page if you don't have your own copy at home.
I know this bunny idea originally came from Jackie Topa, who is an amazing, creative demo. Remember the flower from February Stamp Camp, made with the Build a Blossom stamp set and the Blossom Petals Punch? Well, this bunny card was made with the same stamp set and punch. Too cute....
This idea was so cute, I just had to make it. See template below.
I created the template below to show all components you needed to punch and run through the Big Shot.
