Oh my, time has a way of slipping away from me. So sorry about the delay in posting.
Here is a card we made at my Stamp Camp this month. It uses Heat and Stick Powder and glitter. The secret to using Heat and Stick Powder is to not overheat it with the heat gun. You stamp your image with a pigment ink, real red craft ink was used here. Then dump Heat and Stick Powder generously over the stamped image. Then shake off any excess but don't tap it off. You want a lot to stick to your image. Then, using the Heat Gun, slowly heat the image just until the powder melts...then STOP. It will be sticky at that point and you then pour the glitter generously over the image. Tap off excess glitter and then you can zap it again with the heat gun or not. I usually do not. It takes just a minute for the stickiness to dry. Take a 1" paint brush and brush away any excess glitter. That's it. You will have glitter everywhere because it is so fine. I know my friend Mary is sad that she missed this Stamp Camp. She LOVES glitter :-)
I wanted bright spring cards for my stamp camp this month. The theme was spring and Easter.
Stamp set used: Sprinkled Expressions from the SAB mini, Accessories: Crimper and Ribbon Border Punch. Fine Galaxy Glitter. Colors, real red and delightful daffodil. These are among my favorite colors in the garden.
