Crazy for Cupcakes is such a fun set and I'm sad to see it go. Cupcakes are such the rage still and this set is so versatile.
This is another cute card made with the Stitched Stocking stamp set and matching punch. The bricks are made with the punch...it's the top of the stocking. Then I sponged black around the edges to give it depth. I tore whisper white cardstock to get the layers of snow on the roof and then added dazzling diamonds glitter to the edges of each layer. Santa's boots are just the stocking punched with basic black cardstock. Cute isn't it.
Okay, I've been MIA for 2 night. But I'm back.
Let's see, where did we leave off...ah yes, the Tracy Arm Fjord. I couldn't get enough and so I have probably hundreds of pictures of our ride in and then our ride out. Last post was our ride in. So, let's see what we have on the way out, after the captain skillfully turned that ship around.
In these next two pictures, you can see how big the iceberg is underneath the water.
I love this shot. The glacier, cliff, ocean, trees and land. It's one of my favs.
The waterfalls were such a stark contrast to the cliffs and there were so many. I LOVE waterfalls. I still can't believe we didn't make it a priority to fly to Victoria Falls when we were in Tanzania. Still kicking myself on that one. That would have been over the top for me.
Here, I was waiting for the iceberg to cross the reflection of one of the waterfalls.
I thought this was a cool shot. Very mystical.

I think this was the bluest iceberg yet. Beautiful!
I'm not sure what happened to cause this water action around this iceberg. I heard something and then it just started whatever. Here, it looks like a piece broke off and created the water movement.
Now, it's getting to be less and less ice.
And now we're out of the Fjord. What a lovely few hours.
Okay, more one our adventure for the 2nd half of the day....tomorrow.

Good night...
Remember how busy I was on Friday? So busy that I forgot to post...and I was doing so well. I thought I'd share what we did at the birthday party. Melanie turned 7 and wanted to have a stamping party. When her mom asked me to do it, I said you can do it, I don't need to. Tina used to be a demonstrator herself. But, she wanted me to so I was happy to do it. 7 is the youngest I would ever do a party for but usually they are 11 - 16. It's been a long time since I was around 7 year olds. LOL...but we all had a good time. I thought I'd show you want we made. Other demos out there have asked me what I do for birthday parties, so here you go:
We made a butterfly bookmark. I had the girls cut the butterfly out with the Big Shot and the Butterfly Bigz die.

They decorated a scrapbook page and they all went home with a group birthday picture on their page. I didn't ask permission to post their picture on my BLOG so it's not here.
A sour cream container filled with candy. We didn't do the typical seal at both ends. Instead I decided to turn the top end over and secure with ribbon so they could get at the candy without having to cut the container open. I had never thought of that before and was quite excited when I did :-)
The final project was to decorate and fancy fold a lunch bag and add ribbon and glitter.
A great time was had by all. I always love doing birthday parties but I was glad to have the help of Tina and her sister Larrie as the 7 year olds were a bit to handle on my own. LOL
As you saw, I used mostly retired supplies because I'm not doing a show expecting sales. I like the retired pinks and purples and the colors are bright and fun for the girls.

Well, it's been a long but fun day. I had my quarterly team meeting today and it was from 1 - 7 pm. 4 ladies from Lynchburg came up and 3 locals. We had a fun time of eating, talking, stamping, eating, talking, more eating and stamping all day. Everyone brought a project for everyone else to make...that's called a "shoe box swap." There was such a great variety and I'll share with you throughout the next several days. I had a card and a 3-d for everyone to make. It's a Tooth Fairy Box. What do you think? I made this for the daughter of a friend who has a 2 year old. I know she won't be losing any teeth soon but hopefully she will keep this and enjoy it for years to come, once her daughter starts losing teeth.
