If you're loving the Occasions mini catalog as much as I do, you're going to love some samples below made with sets and or accessories from that catalog. They are from a team meeting/shoe box swap I had last month. Enjoy
This first one was made by Melissa who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. She's always jet setting across the world with her job so we never get to see her. How she finds time to send in swaps is beyond me. But, we're so glad she finds the time to be a demonstrator and send us swaps. This card uses the Big Shot machine and the following Bigz Dies: Frame, Oval Scallop on page 197, Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies on page 196 and the Embosslit Die Stampin' Up! Simple Flower on page 202. She used the Walk in the Park DSP on page 9 of the Occasions Mini catalog, for the butterfly and she then layered a butterfly Window Sheet on page 10 of the mini, cut with the Big Shot. You could easily put a picture behind the oval for a great scrapbook page or to send a picture/card to a friend.
This one is from Kathy who lives in Lynchburg, VA. She finds time to come up for meetings and stamp camps, which is quite a hike. This one is very 3-d and uses the Watercolor Paper on page 156, reinkers from page 154/155 and Aqua Painters from page 190. Almost everything is cut out and applied to the card with dimensionals. It's beautiful but NOT a 5 minute card. It was totally worth the work. The bird is supposed to be perched on the flower pot but mine is jumping off the flower pot.
This one is from Barbara who lives in Rockville, MD and was a brand new demonstrator when we had our meeting/swap. This is the Playful Petals stamp set from page 99. Also used were Basic Black Marker to outline the flower and color in some dots and flower accents, Ruby Red Marker to color in, Eyelet Scallop Border Punch, Basic Black ink pad and Ruby Red ink pad, Paper Snips and dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed these samples...more tomorrow.
