I love this time of year and I usually can't wait for all of my flowers to start peeking through the mulch. Then I know that spring has sprung. Well, this new house doesn't seem to have many flowers...so sad. I will have to wait and see and assess and then start anew next year. Until then, I will create lots of cards with flowers, like this one. It makes me happy.

I really like making Easter cards. They are always colorful and cheerful. This is one of my favorites. The background is sponged with bright colors but blended so that they aren't too bright. Petite Petals stamp set and punch. Big shot, Hexagon Hive Thinlit, Scallop oval punch, Bird Builder punch.

Yes, there really is such a thing. They are amazing creatures. If you haven't ever seen one, Google it. This is my version of one. I love the Butterfly Thinlits and the Love and Sympathy stamp set paired together.

This is a little more time consuming than the CAS I posted yesterday but I think it's totally worth it. I like these two colors paired together, Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral. I also love the Petal Potpourri stamp set with all the adorable flowers. I choose the lace one because I associate that with vintage and it was the look I was going for. Also uses the Flower Medallion Punch, Big Shot, 3/4" and 1" circle punches and Delicate Designs embossing folder. I'm already dreading the loss of Crisp Cantaloupe, when the new catalog comes out this summer.
Updated to include ribbon above the embossed bottom portion. Do you like it better?
