Leadership Gifts for my Downline and Roomies

The path is paved with good intentions...mine always are but I just always seem to run behind.  lol.  Leadership in San Antonio was fabulous and I still need to post more from that event.  I did want to post the gifts I made for my downline and my roomies though.  It's an altered clipboard and I had such fun making them.  They do take a while but they were so worth it and everyone loved them.  I hope you like this sample that I made for Terri.  The 'Friends' is from Vintage Vogue.  The clipboard is covered with the Neutrals Patterns DSP.  I cut the cork into 4x4 and put a double layer down with a hot glue gun, courtesy of my MIL(only the 2nd time I've ever used one of those....I think I need to buy myself one).

The photo corners punch is retired but I just love it for things like this so I'll never sell it.  The calendars were purchased online.  The rest is self explanatory...I think.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. 

Ty Pennington - Lee Greenwood - Roger Clemens - a most amazing night

Last night we had the most amazing time.  We scored tickets to the fundraising event for Helping a Hero, enjoying coctails and meeting some wonderful people...stars, veterans and heros.  Ty Pennington and his extreme team came in and introduced some heros and then Lee Greenwood brought us all to tears with a live performance of "God Bless the USA."  Roger Clemens was introduced and shortly after that the auction began.  After the fundraising event, we gathered on the San Antonio River Walk to participate in the last filming of Extreme Makeover Home Edition where multiple houses were donated to several very deserving families.  I can't say more because it won't air until December.  Lee Greenwood came out and brought thousands of us to tears again with another live performance of "God Bless the USA."  It was one of the best nights of my life to be a part of something so special. 

We were in town for a Stampin' Up! Leadership conference and then were in the right place at the right time and enjoyed this once in a lifetime opportunity. You just never know what's going to happen to you on a Stampin' Up! trip.  Wouldn't you love to be part of our group next year in January when we head to ????  We don't know where yet but you know we'll have a GREAT time.  I'd love to have you with me.  Stay tuned for details on the fabulous opportunity for a great deal that will take place January 24 - March 31st.

Riding High at Leadership in Orlando

Leadership Adventures

Boy do I feel like a queen this week! I am in Orlando for Stampin' UP!s Leadership conference and based on my sales (thanks wonderful customers!!!) and number of demonstrators on my Stampers with Sparkle FUN team, I qualified to attend Manager's reception. This is a special dinner and evening planned for Manager's and above. This year Stampin' UP! rented out a entire section of Universal Studios for the reception. There were buffets in the streets (chocolate fondue!), a DJ and dance area, caricature artists, photos with roaming super heroes, free arcade games and FREE RIDES!! We were the only people in the park for three and a half hours!

Check this out: all over the park were Stampin' UP! banners and illuminated Stampin' UP! signs! And as we were leaving Universal Studios, employees of Stampin' UP! gave us this awesome parting gift (with a brand new stamp set inside!!):

Can't wait to get back and share everything with you.  Learned lots.....woo hoo
