I had envisioned this in my head on Saturday. When I finally made it, I really liked it a lot. The colors are Baja Breeze and Basic Gray. I love those colors together and when you're making a sympathy card, it needs to be clean and simple, imho :-)
I hope you like it too. The stamp set is Love & Sympathy. It's a 3 stamp set and has a lovely verse for the inside. I'm so happy it's not retiring along with the hundreds of others next month. whew
We are making this at Stamp Camp this coming Saturday. I hope you're coming!

An aside....Someone recently asked me about the cheetah picture on my BLOG. I had forgotten that I put that up there eons ago. It's a picture I took back in 2008 when we (hubby, daughter and I) went on a photography safari to Tanzania. It was the trip of a lifetime and we did it up right. We had our own private guide and for 3 weeks we forgot about everything and immersed ourselves into another world. We stayed in mostly tents and one lodge for the safari part. The trip ended in Zanzibar, in beautiful beach bungalows. I thought it would be fun to share pictures of our trip with you as I share card samples with you. If you enjoy them, I'll keep sharing. I'll tell the cheetah story when we get to that part.
After an 18 hour flight, we settled into our first nights accommodations just to rest and woke up to this glorious morning view. Since Tammy is grown, she had her own accommodations throughout the trip. More on that later. I took this shot from my balcony.

I made Tammy a calendar with My Digital Studio (MDS) and this is one of the pages from it. Tammy's private quarters.

On our first full day, we were excited to get started on our safari adventure. After driving for just a bit this was the sight when we entered Arusha National Park. I'll have to go back through my notebooks to remember all the parks but it will be fun to revisit this fabulous trip.
Giraffes for as far as the eye could see. Tammy's favorite of all the animals.

A close up of these two fellas. Actually they could be females for all I know. Aren't they cute and the one is posing so nicely for us. Sometimes they were so close that we felt we could reach out and pet them.

more tomorrow...
