Here is one of the stamp camp cards we made on Saturday.  The buy 3 and get a 4th free DSP ends on Wednesday so get your orders in soon.  That's a 25% savings...hello.  Our DSP is so beautiful and is great for so much more than just cards.  Think sour cream containers for the upcoming holidays.  Need ideas...just let me know.

Wednesday is also the last day to order from the current Summer Mini catalog.  On Thursday, the products in that mini will no longer be available.

More Alaska pictures and card samples

So really this is our first full day at sea - May 21 and we did the room service thing.  I get confused so easily.  So the room service post from yesterday really belongs here.  Use your imagination.  lol

After eating we went to the general session and then the Trading post.

Here's a couple more pictures of samples that SU! had up for us in the Trading Post.  Some were made by demonstrators and some were made/demoed for us by Stampin' Up!

This ship is in the new Summer Mini catalog.  It's such a great set.

 

This is from a set in the new upcoming 2011-2012 catalog.  It's a very elegant set.
 

This set is in the Summer Mini and they just added glitter bling in the center.  I think they glittered up some buttons but I can't remember. Too cute.
 

Our first formal dinner was our first full day at sea.

Apparently this is a big deal but I wouldn't know Maui Jim from Slim Jim.  But, they are cool and I can get them converted to prescription at no cost (per the Maui Jim rep on the ship).  So, that's cool.

After dinner, we went to the show and saw a variety of artists, singing, dancing and then this duo again.  I just couldn't get enough of them.  Amazing.

I thought this was so pretty.  A tree outside the entrance to the lounge.  Which is where Linda and I headed after the show tonight.  We thought we were young again.

 

This ice sculpture was really neat.  It's used to make a martini.  The bartender pours the drink into the opening at the top and then the liquid spirals down and around all the way to the bottom where you hold your glass to catch the drink.  It's ice cold by the time it travels down the ice.  I don't drink martini's so I didn't get one.  I should have tried it though.  Next time...

 

I think we got back to our cabin around midnight.

The entertainment on a ship can be so so or it can be really good.  This duo act was incredible.  The strength of both of them blew my mind. I can't remember the name of the act...sorry

I couldn't use my flash so the color is off but still good.  What do you think?  OMG.  That show was actually the first night but my camera time zone was set to EST.

Good morning with coffe and breakfast, courtesty of Celebrity :-)  The absolute best thing about cruising is the free room service and having a verandah.  We usally sit outside and have our morning coffee but it was too cold on this trip.  However, we still got room service every morning.  Whether it was just for coffee or for our morining meal.  Linda and I love this perk of cruising.  Mike...not so much.  But, he wasn't with me on this trip so here's to room service.

 

 Ut oh, a little back and forth between Shelli (Stampin' Up! Co-founder and CEO) and Sterling (her husband).  Shelli said something on stage during our General Session and Sterling had to get his two cents in.  They are so adorable and you don't usually see them have a personal discussion back and forth in front of all of us.  It was quite funny.  Shelli was in TROUBLE!  Ask me about it when you see me.  lol
 
 

After the 'spat' Shelli does a little demonstrator for us using the empty spoolm from a package of Glue Dots. Too cute.
 

 
After General Session, guess what they gave everyone who attended?  A brand new 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog.  You'd have thought we all won the mega jackpot lottery.  We were soooooo excited!  You will be too when you see it!

We worked up a thirst with all the yelling and clapping so Linda and I went to celebrate and have Bloody Mary's.  Yum, they were delicious.  A little Internet time before we were off to our next adventure on ship.

 

Our next adventure was to EAT.  This is a cool picture of the leg of my chair over a giant round glass window in the floor.  You see the ocean under your chair.  I got dizzy looking at it for very long.  Way cool though.
 
 

There were mirrors up above us so I took this shot.  I had fun just taking pictures.

 

Then we were off to the "Trading Post" to see the first set of samples they had for us to see.  If you bring a sample, they post a few every day to share with everyone.

This one is so bright and cheery.  The DSP, and embossing folder are both in the Summer Mini.
 

One of my Favorites

This is a simple card but has such meaning.  I really love it.  It's made with the Strength & Hope stamp set and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper...yummy paper.  Also uses the Big Shot and Circle Die and a few punches:  Decorative Label, Scallop Trim Border, 1 3/4" and 1 3/8" circles.

You'll need ideas for when you get your set, yes?  I'm trying to fit a class in for just this stamp set so that if you order it, we'll have a special class just for you to make special cards with.  Give me a week or so to figure the timing out.

Isn't it pretty though?  Another great use for this set.

Isn't this one beautiful.  Recognize the Lattice Die cut with the Big Shot.  It's the same die I used to create the cross for my Easter card.  Love the Big Shot and all the fabulous dies we have.
