We're back to sharing what I received from other demonstrators as swaps. As you know, we are a sharing bunch and no need to reinvent the wheel.

I'm back. Sorry about the delay in posts...I was doing so well.
So here are 2 cards that we did at my Stamp Clubs this month. The ladies loved them and they thought the elf shoes card was adorable. The bag is an 'extra' that we'll be making at the December clubs. His little shoes use the Top Note Die and the Big Shot.
I was experimenting with the Top Note die. The one on the left is a photo magnet that I made by adhering some DSP to a magnet sheet. This is for my fridge. I made the one on the right as a mat to put in a frame. It is backed to chipboard and measures 5x7. I was excited when that experiment worked. Oh...then I ran it through the Big Shot again with the Background 1 Texturz die. Can you see the argyle texture? Way cool. I love the Big Shot.
Here is the magnet one on my fridge. I love my gardens and the stone birdhouse was made by my brother-in-law so I keep that picture up. My fridge is covered with pictures, mostly of people and pets. One of these days, they'll all be in nice frames.

Mike and I at the Stampin' Up! welcome reception. It was first class all the way. The food was scrumptious and the entertainment was simple, a man with his guitar.
The views were spectacular.
There were 900+ of us on the trip. That included demonstrators, their families and SU! staff.
The palm trees were all lit up with colored lights. Very pretty.

Oh my gosh, what a fabulous vacation we had in Hawaii. Stampin' Up! has outdone themselves this time. Look for pics of our trip throughout the week. It was too short though...we needed at least 2 weeks to do everything we wanted to do. I had such serious jetlag that I slept almost 24 hours once we got home but I'm all rested up now.
Well, imagine my surprise when I came home and there were 3 cards awaiting me. I absolutely love to get cards in the mail. Two of them were birthday cards (my birthday is tomorrow) and one was a thank you card. Aren't they wonderful and so are the ladies that sent them, Vickie, Mary and Cassi. Thank you ladies, I just love them.

Mary B. made me this adorable birthday card. Pink and brown go so well together. You can't tell from the picture but the cake and stand are embossed with black embossing powder and it's so shiny. Then she dotted the black dots with something shiny so it looks like glazed dots. Too fun. Mary and I share the same birthday. How special is that. Thank you Mary, I love my card. Have a Happy Birthday tomorrow!
Vickie made me this lovely birthday card. The Birds and Branches decorative strip is one of my favorites and I love how she used a jewel for the bird's eye. The background adds a nice textured touch. I just love this color combo also. Thank you Vickie, I love my card.
